Welcome

Dent Doc Express Is the leading dent repair company in Central South Carolina.
Dent Doc Express is a Paintless Dent Repair Company (PDR). PDR is a method of removing dents without disturbing the painted surface of the vehicle.
Using specialized tools and techniques, Dent Doc Express Technicians gently flex or massage the metal within the damaged area. The end result is a virtually invisible repair and your factory finish remains intact.
Most body shop or collision repair shops require your factory finish to be removed during the repair process. A body shop or collision repair center will remove your factory finish, fill the dent with a plastic filler and repaint your vehicle.
This method is intrusive, expensive and usually takes several days. Paint matching issues also come into play with this process.
PDR can usually be done in 1 to 2 hours and costs about half as much as body shops or collision repair centers. Since PDR leaves your factory finish in place, there never any paint matching issues.
Paintless Dent Repair is accepted and preferred by insurance companies.
For minor dents and hail damage PDR is considered to be a higher quality repair over body shop and collision center repairs.
Our Mobile Service takes the hassle out of getting your car repaired.
We also have four Columbia Locations to serve you.

Origins of PDR
PDR is believed to have been first discovered by Mercedes-Benz in the 1940's.
Noticing some small dents in cars still on the assembly line, repair technicians tried using steel rods and special lighting to minimize the dents. This secret spread quickly among manufacturers in Germany and the USA. It soon made its way into body shops across the globe as a way to make dents smaller before filling them with lead.
By the late 1970's, the technique had been perfected and a new industry was born.
Most insurance companies quickly accepted PDR for use in destructive hail storms.

PDR Today
Over the years the tools, techniques and technologies have evolved and the PDR industry has been formed.
Today PDR is used on everyday collision repairs, as well as hail damage and minor dents.
The size of dent that can be repaired has also changed. These days its not uncommon to see dents as large as basketballs repaired using PDR.
People all over the world are now able to take advantage of the cost and time savings offered by using PDR.
